As we remember the passing of this beautiful man, with his amazing voice, let's also remember that it was not the end for him on 16th August 1977, but rather the beginning of a life without sorrow, disease or conflict. I believe that Elvis is now enjoying everlasting life with his heavenly father, because of his belief and faith in what Jesus did for him, and all of us, on the cross of Calvary. I fully expect to be able to spend time with Elvis when I leave this mortal body. How about you? I hope that as you continue to listen to the gospel songs that Elvis sang, you will grow closer to the Lord Jesus and know that peace which passes all understanding, the shalom of God.
